About the organization

The Children's Museum of Fond du Lac supports childhood development through hands-on exhibits and programs that engage children, their caregivers, and the wider community in lifelong learning through play.

It is a place where a child's curiosity is treated as something worth investing in, where families of every income can spend an afternoon building, imagining, and discovering together.

Early childhood is where confidence is built. A museum that lets a child lead their own learning gives them something that lasts long after they leave the building.

My role

Served six years as a board member, helping guide programming and community access.
Advocated for outreach that reaches families who might otherwise never walk through the door.

Presented to Officer Keywon Brown on January 27, 2026, for 6 years of service, reaching his bylaw stated maximum term while being a true champion of the Museum and for its staff in ways that were both silent and bold, each having a positive impact on the collective ability to provide educational, playful and fun activities that support healthy child development in the Fond du Lac community.
