About the organization
Ebony Vision works to strengthen and celebrate the Black community in Fond du Lac through cultural programming, mentorship, scholarship, and community dialogue, including the area's long-running annual Juneteenth celebration.
The organization creates space where families see themselves reflected in their own city, and where hard conversations about equity can happen honestly.
Representation is not a symbolic thing to a child. Seeing adults who look like you leading, celebrating, and being welcomed changes what you believe is possible.
My role
- Board service supporting cultural programming and youth engagement.
- Helped connect community members with law enforcement in settings built on trust rather than crisis.
